The National Reined Cow Horse Association has launched its NRCHA Cow Horse Incentive, which will replace the former Subscribed Stallion Program. The first event featuring payouts from this exciting NEW program will be the 2025 Stallion Stakes.
Offspring of the stallions listed below are eligible to compete at the 2025 Stallion Stakes in the Legacy Division, created for this inaugural year, similar to the Novice Horse. The purse will be based on the number of entries and stallion subscribers will still be paid based on Legacy Stallion Subscription payout guidelines.
Legacy stallions are advancing their subscriptions daily and offspring by these stallions are also eligible to nominate. Nominators will be notified once the stallion advances their subscription.
If the stallion does not advance their subscription, the nominated offspring will still be eligible to compete at the 2025 Stallion Stakes in the Legacy Division, but with the added benefit of a Legacy Nominator purse payout.
Any horse competing in a Legacy Division is not eligible for the Stallion or Nominator purse payouts associated with the new Cow Horse Incentive.

Nomination Grace Period:
To accommodate recent and continued interest, we’re adding a grace period from November 16 through December 31 for both stallion subscriptions and foal nominations.
During this period, the following rates will apply:
- Weanlings (2024 foals): $275
- Yearlings to 5-year-olds (2019-2023 foals): $275 + $20 Late Fee
Note: 2019 foals are only eligible for Non Pro Boxing Stakes
