The National Reined Cow Horse Association is excited to announce that over 750 offspring are eligible to compete in the 2025 Stallion Stakes limited-aged event. With a significantly increased number of horses, the NRCHA is introducing an early entry deposit process to ensure that the event’s schedule can accommodate the magnitude of this year’s competition.
Early Entry Deposit Requirement
To streamline scheduling, the NRCHA is asking members to submit an early entry form and a $500 deposit per horse entering the limited-aged event. This deposit will help the association effectively plan for the high volume of entries expected for the 2025 Stallion Stakes.
Deposit Details
- Deadline: The $500 deposit must be submitted by Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
- Applies To: Limited-aged event entries only (deposit is not required for other horse show entries).
- Refund Policy: If the show schedule significantly impacts your ability to bring horses, a refund will be available up to 5 business days after the schedule is posted.
- Deposit Credit: The deposit will be applied toward the total entry fee at checkout.
Why the New Entry Process?
The NRCHA is implementing this early entry deposit process due to the large number of horses nominated for the 2025 Stallion Stakes. With over 750 horses eligible for the limited-aged event, this new procedure ensures that the event’s schedule and facility can accommodate the increased entries.
We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation in the Cow Horse Incentive program, this new process helps us better manage the logistics of such a large event and ensures that we can provide the best experience possible for competitors, fans, and the sport.

The NRCHA thanks all members for their continued support and looks forward to a record-breaking 2025 Stallion Stakes event!
