Ted Robinson
Ted Robinson holds the distinction of being the winningest NRCHA rider of all time. He has won the prestigious NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity a record seven times, and has also taken the Worlds Greatest Horseman title twice.
Ted won his first Snaffle Bit Futurity in 1987 on Nu Cash. Nu Cash would eventually sire three Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champions, an Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Reserve Champion, and be the Grandsire of an Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion
all of which were ridden by Ted.
In 1991, Ted won the Futurity on Master Checks. Four years later, in 1995, Ted would begin a three-win streak on Nu Cash foals. He won the 1995 title on The Nu Colonel, and in 1996 won the Championship on Shesa Lota Cash. In 1997, riding Smart Little Cash, Ted earned his fifth title. In 2000, Ted catch-rode Smokums Prize to the Futurity title, and piloted Nu Circle Of Light to the Championship in 2005.
But Ted is known for even more than his success and his obvious talent. His enigmatic attitude and jovial personality have made him a favored speaker and teacher.
