When National Reined Cow Horse Association standout CD Survivor’s life was abruptly cut short, the cow horse industry mourned the loss. Now the unforgettable cow horse will be memorialized with a perpetual trophy in his honor.
Nancy Crawford-Hall’s Holy Cow Performance Horses LLC has come on board to sponsor the $50,000 Added Open Bridle Spectacular at the NRCHA Derby in Paso Robles, California. The winner of the class, now named the Holy Cow Performance Horses Open Bridle Spectacular, will have his or her name inscribed on the beautiful CD Survivor Memorial Trophy.
Crawford-Hall noted, “I am grateful to the NRCHA for continuing to honor the tradition of the great reined cow horses and horsemen and women of yesteryear. I am excited to participate in sponsoring an event for the great bridle horses of today and tomorrow. From snaffle bit to bridle, this level of training is the ultimate goal. Not all horses will have the stamina to go the whole course but those that do are a very special group. Holy Cow Performance Horses LLC salutes them all.”
